Information about the Teacher Training Workshop at Rutgers University-Camden, October 3, 2017

Rutgers-Camden will be hosting a free training workshop for teachers and educators interested in learning more about the History Day competition on Tuesday, October 3, 2017.  The workshop will take place from 9:00 am to 12:15 pm on Tuesday, October 3 in the Electronic Classroom at Rutgers-Camden’s Paul Robeson Library. Professional Development credit will be offered, and a continental breakfast will be served.

Robeson Library is conveniently located just a few blocks away from the City Hall stop on PATCO.  For those who are driving, free and secure parking will be available in Camden Technology Center Parking Garage (designated on this map as “Camden County Parking Deck”) located at 601 Cooper Street.  Guests should take a ticket as they enter the garage and bring it with them for the day.  Before they leave for the day, they will need to present the ticket to the customer service staff at the parking lobby desk.  They can identify themselves as guests of Rutgers and the tickets will be stamped/validated.

Driving directions may be found at  Follow them to Cooper Street; once on Cooper Street turn right onto Sixth Street.  At the stop sign, turn right onto Penn Street. The garage entrance is just ahead on the right.

10:15-10:45 am           Q&A and coffee break

10:45 am -12:00 pm    Overview of Rutgers-Camden Paul Robeson Library resources by Julie Still, Reference Librarian and Collection Development Coordinator
